Maine State Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a Waldo County man wanted under multiple pending warrants.

Hart Putnam, 22, was recently involved in a police chase and crashed his vehicle in the woods, in an attempt to evade arrest, police said. He had two passengers with him in the vehicle. Police did not say whether others in the vehicle were injured in the crash.

Police said Putnam was wanted on drug-related warrants, parole violation, law enforcement nonstop, reckless driving, possession of fentanyl and supplying fentanyl. He is also suspected of several property crimes in the region.
