National Cycling Squad The national training squad will be continued and, resources permitting,expanded. The Squad aims to identify new cycling talent in Timor-Leste and raise the personal best times of returning riders. The program will also seek further international competition opportunities for the country's emerging elite riders.Integrated tourism This year's event seeks to better promote local travel and tourism opportunities for riders before, during and after the competition, in order to showcase the country's natural, historical and cultural features and capitalize on the economic opportunities. Part may also involve assisting communities identify, market and showcase their local attractions. It will also better integrate tourism promotion & management into website, marketing and program.
