Henry - Director

Henry is the Manager / owner of the Venture Hotel and is actually an electrician by trade. He arrived in Dili by accident in 2001 and has forgotten lo leave! The story goes something like this....Henry was travelling around Australia on a working holiday and arrived in Darwin a bit short of cash, so he got hold of the local paper and saw an ad for an electrician in East Timor that had a passport and was able to start immediately. "Thats me" .....said Henry, arranged an interview immediately and was flown to Dili the next day. The rest is history and these days Henry is quite content to run Dili Bacpackers and share a yarn with his guests at the bar.
