Hotel Dili

One of the timorleste-hotels.com personal favorites, Hotel Dili is the longest established hotel in Timor-Leste.  Operating continuously since 1933, the Hotel has seen the shifts in Timor-Leste's history from Portuguese times to Japanese occupation in World War Two, Indonesian administration from 1975 and finally Independence in 2002.  It has been owned by the Favaro family since 1971; Frank and Margaret Favaro stayed there on holiday in 1968 and liked the hotel so much they bought it! Now the family's next generation have taken over and they have been renovating and improving the facilities and service constantly to a standard of excellence. 

The hotel's tropical courtyard bar and restaurant is a favourite with residents and visitors alike, as an ideal place to enjoy the gentle sea breeze on a warm day and to relax after a day's touring.  

Continental breakfast is included in the room rate and is served buffet style, with cereals, toast, yoghurt and fresh Timorese fruit.  The Hotel Dili is renowned for its "à la carte" cooked breakfast,  which is one of the best in town.

Late check-out is subject to availability and on request.

Bookings cancelled less than 7 days prior to check in date are non-refundable.

- All reservation made via the internet reservation system are subject to a 10 % booking fee.

- The 10% fee will be used as a deposit and full payment will be made upon arrival.
