"Think the property cannot work out whether the bar or the Rooms take precedence. Bar music very loud until Midnite Friday and Saturday nights and a live band sunday night. Making sleep impossible before that time. As tourists found this not to our liking. Rooms are clean but need work. Think the property will struggle once armed forces and UN depart"

"Its a fairly basic hotel, but the reception man Dan was great at helping us out. The other girl there was very uninterested and spent all her time on the internet, doing her own research. There breakfast was reasonable and the service upstairs great."

"Dili Beach Hotel looks a bit run down, there was nothing charming in my apartment, just all functional. The girls in the restaurant are nice and considerate. Thr breakfast was a bit poor. Anyway, all was acceptable for a country which is still physically affected by civil war destruction and where rehabilitation will still take much time."
