Get a glimpse into Timor's local black treasure - coffee. This Timor coffee tour will take you from Dili through the Tasi-tolu Lakes just outside the capital and further afield into the mountains. Timor produced coffee is enjoyed locally and internationally. Your visit will take you to coffee plantations as well as the madre-del-cacao trees.
You will savour a midday snack and drive through the luxuriant landscapes towards Aileu. Aileu has plenty of history, stated by its varied built heritage. Its church, Portuguese buildings and the former FALINTIL training camp are some of the must-do stops in the city.
At the end of your day, your drive down to Dili will take you through typical mountain roads as the sun sets over the capital from the surrounding hills.
